Repairs using the cold microwelding method

• The technology is intended for carrying out repairs of relatively rough and deep damage to rollers and piston rods, such as holes, dents, scratches, grooves; in short, any deep mechanical damage
• It may also be used to repair imperfections in the production of new parts, particularly castings and their defects
• Microwelding is a gentle and accurate spot welding process that produces a metal joint. There is no thermal effect on the repaired area of the material. Additionally, there is no damage or any effect on the chrome layer of the rollers; their strength is not altered in any way.

Additional material:

• Special alloy 0.1 mm thick blades
• Option of layering in accordance with requirements
• Hardness range of 35-48 HRC

This welding technology is combined with local metal deposition, so-called selective plating.

Repairs using selective metal plating method

• Repairs of machine parts, moulds, rollers, hydraulic piston rods and cylinders with surface treatment by carrying out metal plating (hard chrome, nickel, etc.)
• Option of applying exactly specified layer without the need for subsequent machining
• Anti-corrosion protection
• Abrasion protection/resistance
• The technology applies local electrochemical deposition of metals using the tamponing method. We are able to apply the required layers, whether filler layers such as copper, bronze or protecting layers, most often cobalt or nickel. After the repair, the surface is provided with a protective layer that is anti-corrosion and abrasion resistant.

Additional material:

• Filler materials – for example copper, bronze
• Protective materials – nickel, cobalt, special nickel alloys
• Protective material hardness range up to 54 HRC
